Text messages
We text our own customers, about their own job, and nothing else. No offers, no newsletters, no messages to anybody who has not asked us for plumbing work. This page says exactly what we send, how you switch it on, and how you switch it off.

What we send
Seven things, all about work you book with us, sent by our job system from 928-517-5601:
- A text confirming you signed up, sent once, before anything else.
- A reminder the day before your appointment, with your arrival window.
- Your estimate, with the price, so you can approve it.
- A message when your plumber is on the way, naming the address.
- A message when they arrive and start work.
- A message when the job is finished.
- Your invoice, with a secure link to pay by card, or a receipt once it is paid.
Separately, a person at Judai Brothers may text you about your job from one of our own phones, the way they would call you, unless you have told us not to. Those are typed by a person and do not come from 928-517-5601.
We do not send marketing texts. Not seasonal offers, not discounts, not reminders to book again. If you ever receive one from us, it is a mistake and we want to know.
How you opt in
Three ways, and each one is something you actively do. Texting is optional, and never a condition of our work. We never add a number because it appeared on an invoice or a voicemail.
On the booking form. At judaibrothers.com/book, step 5 of 6, an optional checkbox sits directly beneath the Phone field. It is never pre-ticked, and it reads:

Nothing is sent until you press Confirm booking at step 6, where the review shows your answer:
Leaving it unticked is a perfectly good answer. We telephone or email you instead, and it changes nothing about the work, the price, or how quickly we come out.
By telephone, or in person. If you book by phone or tell us in person, our office staff ask first, read you the same wording, and ask for a yes or a no. Only an explicit yes counts; saying nothing is not a yes. What they read, word for word:

If you say yes, they say: “Thank you, you're signed up. You'll get a text from 928-517-5601 confirming it.”
By email, if we have worked for you before. We may email you a link to a page of ours that names the last four digits of your mobile and shows the same box and the same wording, never pre-ticked. Nothing is recorded unless you tick it and press Save. See a sample email. See that page.
After you say yes, whichever way, the first text our job system sends you is this confirmation:

Whichever way, we write down the date, the exact wording you were shown or read, where it came from, and the number it covers. If you ever want to know what we hold, ask and we will tell you.
How you stop
Reply STOP to any text from 928-517-5601. It is recorded against your record the moment it arrives, and nothing further goes to that number. You do not have to explain, and you do not have to call anyone.
If one of us texts you from our own phone, reply STOP to it or tell us, and we write it on your record, so that neither our phones nor 928-517-5601 text you again until you tell us you want texts.
STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT all do the same thing.
Stopping texts does not cancel your job. This is the thing people most often worry about, so it is worth saying plainly: we will telephone or email you about the work instead, and your appointment stands.
If you replied STOP to 928-517-5601, reply START or UNSTOP to it to switch texts back on. That is the only way back, because STOP blocks every text from that number until you do. You’ll get a confirmation text.
What we never do
Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose.
The companies we use to store your number or deliver our messages do it only for us. Our privacy policy lists them, along with what each one does.
