Privacy policy
Judai Brothers LLC is a licensed plumbing contractor in the Phoenix metro. This page says what we collect when you book a plumber, who else touches it, and how to make us stop. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
When you book. Your name, phone number, email address, the service address and ZIP, what the problem is, and the arrival window you picked. All of it is typed by you, and all of it is needed to send a plumber to the right door at the right time.
When we do the work. The job record itself — what was quoted, what was done, the invoice, and what you paid. Notes and photographs a technician takes of the work, which are how a second visit knows what the first one found.
When you contact us. The messages you send us and the ones we send you, kept against your customer record so whoever picks up next can see the whole conversation rather than half of it.
On this website. Page views, through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets a cookie on your browser so a second page counts as the same visit as the first; Vercel’s sets none. When a booking completes we record how many line items it had, the total, and the window chosen — and nothing else. No name, phone number, email or address is ever put into an analytics product.
Why we have it
To quote the work, schedule it, do it, bill it, and talk to you about it. To keep a record of what we did at your property, which is what a warranty claim is answered from. To meet the record-keeping a licensed contractor is held to in Arizona.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not hand it to anybody else for their marketing.
Who else touches it
Only the services that actually deliver something, and only the part each one needs:
- Resend — sends the booking to our office and the confirmation to you, and the private link to your account: when you ask for it, and in the email confirming a booking made with the email address on your account.
- Google Calendar — holds your arrival window on our schedule.
- Twilio — delivers our text messages to your phone.
- Stripe — takes card payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Vercel — hosts this website and your customer portal.
- Neon — stores our customer records: your details, jobs, invoices and estimates.
- Google Analytics — counts visits to these pages. It is told which pages you looked at, never who you are.
- Housecall Pro — holds our older records and some recent invoices while we finish moving them to our own system.
- Our own phone and email providers — carry the office’s calls, texts and email, including each booking this site sends us.
Beyond that: nobody, unless the law requires it of us.
Text messages
The texts our job system sends come from 928-517-5601 and go only to customers who opted in. They are about your own plumbing jobs: a text confirming you signed up, a reminder the day before your appointment, texts when we are on the way, arrive and finish, and your estimates, invoices and receipts. Separately, a person at Judai Brothers may text you about your job from one of our own phones, the way they would call you, unless you have told us not to. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in. Three ways, and each one is a deliberate yes rather than something that happens to you.
On the booking form. At judaibrothers.com/book, an optional checkbox sits directly beneath the phone number field. It reads “Yes, text me.”, then says what we send, from which number, how often, that rates may apply, HELP and STOP, and where our terms and this policy are. It is never pre-ticked. Leave it alone and we will telephone or email you instead — it changes nothing about the work or the price.
By telephone, or in person. If you book by phone or tell us in person, our office staff ask first, read you the same wording, with where to find our terms and this privacy policy, and ask for a yes or a no. Only an explicit yes counts. Silence is not a yes.
By email, if we have worked for you before. We may email you a link to a page of ours with the same box and wording, never pre-ticked. Nothing is recorded unless you tick it and press Save.
Whichever way, we text you once to confirm, and we record the date, the exact wording you were shown or read, where it came from and the number it covers, against your customer record. There is more detail about what we send and how often on our text messages page.
How often. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any text from 928-517-5601 and we stop immediately — it is recorded against your record the moment it arrives, and no further messages go to that number. If one of us texts you from our own phone, reply STOP to it or tell us, and we write it on your record, so that neither our phones nor 928-517-5601 text you again until you tell us you want texts. Reply HELP to any text from 928-517-5601, or call 480-938-3803, for help. Stopping texts does not cancel your job — we will phone or email you instead. If you texted STOP to 928-517-5601, only texting START or UNSTOP to it switches texts back on.
What we never do with it. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Any service listed above that holds these records does so only to do its part of the job for us, as our service provider and not as a third party.
How long we keep it
Job records, invoices and the messages attached to them are kept for as long as we are required to keep business and tax records, and so that a warranty claim years later can be answered. If you ask us to delete what is not legally required, we will.
Asking us about your information
Call 480-938-3803 or email Jalal@judaibrothers.com. Ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. A real person answers, and you will not be asked to fill in a form to ask a question.
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top of this page. Our terms of service cover the work itself.
